Private Scuba Diving Instruction

As an experienced Scuba Diver I am certified to provide quality private scuba instruction with a number of different specialties!

Courses

The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Course will cover all of the necessary skills and knowledge for open water scuba diving, including:

  • The aquatic environment: vision, light, sound, heat loss, tides, currents, waves, surge, etc.
  • Physics and physiology: buoyancy, pressure, air spaces, breathing compressed air, mixed gases, etc.
  • Dive equipment selection, assembly, use and maintenance
  • Dive planning
  • Basic scuba skills including mask and regulator skills, swimming underwater, buoyancy control, basic rescue techniques, and emergency procedures
  • And much more!

The SDI Advanced Adventure course will give you an overview of five different SDI specialties. Two of the required specialties are the Deep Diver and Navigation Diver specialties which are the foundation of continuing diver education. The remaining specialty dives you can opt for include:

  • Drysuit Diving
  • Night/Limited Visibility Diving
  • Underwater Photography
  • Shore and Beach Diving
  • Boat Diving
  • Drift Diving

Performance Freediving International Instruction

PFI Freediver Course This program teaches fundamental freediving techniques for comfortable enjoyment in the aquatic world to depths of 20m/66ft. You will also practice Static Apnea to help develop your breath-holding abilities and in-water comfort. I currently teach with Bottom Dwellers Freediving
